NXP (Freescale) NOVPEK i.MX6Q/D

The NOVPEKTMi.MX 6 Platform Evaluation Kit was developed with close collaboration with NXP & Linear Technology to give OEMs a flexible platform to evaluate i.MX6 processors by giving access to all the available I/Os on the device and a robust power supply system using the LTC3676 PMIC from Linear Techology.

The i.MX 6 series of applications processors is a scalable multicore platform that includes single-, dual- and quad-core families based on the ARM® Cortex® architecture, including Cortex-A9, combined Cortex-A9 + Cortex-M4 and Cortex-A7 based solutions.

Software

LTpowerPlanner

Included in the LTpowerCAD toolbox, LTpowerPlanner is a system architecture tool for system-level power management design and optimization.

To open the LTpowerPlanner project file:

  • Step 1: If you have not installed LTpowerCAD on this computer, download and install LTpowerCAD
  • Step 2: Within LTpowerCAD, open the "LTC Toolbox" and open LTpowerPlanner
  • Step 3: Download the project file by right clicking on the link below and selecting "Save Target As".
  • Step 4: After saving the file to your computer, open the project file by selecting 'Open Project' from the 'File' menu in LTpowerPlanner
