SOT23 Voltage Reference Offers 10ppm/°C Drift While Limiting Noise to Only 1.6ppm
MILPITAS, CA - August 11, 2010 - Linear Technology introduces
the LT6654, a SOT23 series voltage reference
designed specifically for precision operation from -40°C to 125°C.
This voltage reference combines 0.05% initial accuracy, 10ppm
temperature drift and low frequency noise of only 1.6ppm. The
LT6654 can operate on a supply voltage as low as 100mV above the
output, and it maintains a line regulation error of only 5ppm/V on
a supply voltage up to 36V. The buffered output enables
source or sink capability up to 10mA, and limits load regulation
error to only 8ppm/mA. In addition, the sink capability
allows the LT6654 to operate as a negative voltage reference
without compromising precision. Advanced design, processing
and packaging techniques ensure long term stability, as well as low
thermal hysteresis over the full temperature range of -40°C to
125°C.
"The LT6654 expands the precision and stability performance of
SOT23 references," says Brendan Whelan, Design Manager for Linear
Technology. "This makes the LT6654 a strong candidate for
automotive and industrial applications, as well as high resolution
instrumentation and data acquisition."
The LT6654 is currently in production with a 2.5V output version.
Additional voltage options will be available soon. Prices start at
$1.55 each in 1,000-piece quantities. For more information, visit
