DC1408A - LT3029EDE Demo Board | Dual Input, Dual Low Dropout, Low Noise, Micropower Linear Regulator, 2.3V ≤ VIN ≤ 20V, Vout1/Vout2 = 1.5V/1.8V/2.5V/3.3V/5V/Adj @ 500mA
Demonstration circuit 1408 is a dual input, 500mA/500mA linear regulator featuring the LT®3029. The LT3029 is a dual, micro-power, low noise and low dropout voltage linear regulator. The device operates either with a common input supply or independent input supplies for each channel, over an input range of 1.8V to 20V; the demo board has a minimum input voltage of 2.3V. Each output supplies up to 500mA of output current with a typical dropout voltage of 300mV. The output voltage is jumper-selectable for each channel and can be set to 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, 5V or a user-defined value.
A 10nF bypass capacitor reduces output noise to 20μVRMS (10Hz to 100kHz bandwidth). The low 55μA quiescent current per channel makes it an idea choice for battery-powered systems. Shutdown control is independent for each channel, allowing flexible power management.
