YPBPR to RGB Converter
In this realization of a component video (YPBPR) to RGB adapter, amplifier count is minimized by performing passive arithmetic at the outputs, but this requires higher gains, thus a higher supply potential is needed for this (for at least the positive rail). One small drawback to this otherwise compact solution is that the Y channel amplifier must single-handedly drive all three outputs to produce white, so the helper current source shown is needed to increase available drive current. As with the previous circuit, the sync on Y is mapped to all outputs and input coupling-capacitors can be added if the input source has significant offset.
