Advanced Search Information

For help with advanced searching please refer to the following information.

Capitalization
Searches are NOT case sensitive. All letters, regardless of how you type them, will be understood as lower case. For example, searches for Linear Regulator and linear regulator will return the same results.

Automatic “And” Queries
By default, search only returns pages that include all of your search terms. There is no need to include "and" between terms. Keep in mind that the order in which the terms are typed will affect the search results. To restrict a search further, just include more terms.

Phrase Searches
Sometimes you'll only want results that include an exact phrase. In this case, simply put quotation marks around your search terms.  For example, entering the search term linear regulators would return all documents with both the words linear and regulators in any order, anywhere in the document.  However, entering the search term “linear regulators” (with quotes) would only return documents with an exact phrase match.

Negative Terms

You can focus your search by putting a minus sign ("-") in front of words related to the meaning you want to avoid.  Please note, when you include a negative term in your search, be sure to include a space before the minus sign.

Refine Your Search
To further refine your results, you can limit the scope of the search by using the controls at the left side of the search results page.  You can limit your search to only the Company, Design Support, Products or Quality sections of the website.  Within the Design Support section, you can then further limit your searches to Datasheets, Design Notes or Application Notes.  Within the Products section, you can limit your results to Data Conversion, Signal Conditioning, Power Management or High Frequency product families.
