Below is an introduction to using Linear Express for buying Linear Technology products online.

SUBMIT YOUR CREDIT APPLICATION »

You are required to provide Linear Express with a bank reference, 2 trade references, as well as an Income Statement and recent audited Balance sheet.

After completing the Linear Express credit application, you may fax it, along with all required documents listed above, to 408-434-0155.

Once your application is approved and a credit line is established, we will then create your account for you and notify you of your temporary password via phone after the registration process is complete. After being approved and fully registered, you may log in to your account at any time.

HOW TO LOGIN »

Once your account has been created and you have been notified of your temporary password, you may then visit the site by clicking on the link provided above and simply log in with your email and password.

Please note that all log in and passwords are case sensitive.

If you log in incorrectly, your password will become invalid after 5 unsuccessful tries, and you will need to request a new one.

PASSWORDS

If you require a new password due to your current one becoming invalid, or you have forgotten your password, simply click the "Forgotten your Password" link to request a new one.

You will then receive a "temporary" password via email.

Once you receive your temporary password, we strongly advise you to log in and change it to your own permanent password on your first visit.

If you are logged into your account, you may change your password in the Account Management field as well.

ORDER ENTRY

To place an order, you may use the "Store Search" box to find the device you are interested in buying.

Type the part number in the box and click "Go". Please note that you can also type in just the part number without the prefix, or suffix, and an entire product family listing will appear at which point you can choose the correct device.

Review the part number to ensure that it is in fact the one you are looking for and add it to your shopping cart.

You can then provide a "Need by Date" for each line item that you add to your cart.

We have also provided a Comment field on this page for your convenience.

If you find that you have added an incorrect device to your shopping cart, you may click the "Delete" link on the shopping cart page to remove the specific line item.

If the quantity entered is incorrect, you may type in the correct quantity and click on the "Update" button to secure the change.

Because of the $250.00 minimum buy per purchase order, you will not be able to proceed to the checkout point unless you are at or beyond this minimum dollar amount. 

Quantities ordered must be in standard rail or standard Tape & Reel multiples.

When you are finished shopping, you can then click the "Checkout" button.

At this point you will be asked to confirm the billing and shipping information, and request the Federal Express shipping method of your choice. 

A Purchase Order number is required at this point, and orders without a Purchase Order will not be accepted. 

If all the required fields have been completed properly, you may proceed and finalize your order.

The next page will show your order confirmation number. This confirmation page ensures you that your order was accepted and is being processed. 

When your order ships, you will receive the shipment tracking number via email.

You may also fax your purchase order to 408-434-0155 if you wish.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

This feature gives you the ability to view all order history, check order status, look up scheduled shipping dates, track shipments, change your password, and modify your profile.

This feature also gives you the ability to repeat an order that you have booked with us in the past. To repeat an order, go to "Order History", click on the order number you wish to repeat, and click the "Repeat This Order" button.

TAX EXEMPT ORDERS

You must provide your tax exemption certificate to Linear Express and are asked to fax it with your credit application along with all the required documents when setting up an account. If we do not have a tax-exempt certificate on file for you, the applicable taxes will be added to your order.

CANCELLATIONS/RETURNS

No cancellations or reschedules will be accepted within thirty (30) days of the earliest request ship date. Only two (2) push-outs are allowed per line item for orders beyond thirty (30) days prior to earliest request ship date.

SECURITY

Linear Technology cares about your privacy. All transactions are done via secure connections. The secure connection operates in frames and therefore does not always display the lock symbol in your browser.
