No Latency Delta Sigma ADCs
Linear Technology's family of No Latency Delta Sigma analog to digital converters (Sigma Delta ADCs) is unrivaled in performance and ease of use. With guaranteed resolutions from 16-bit ADCs up to 24-bit ADCs, with up to 16 multiplexed inputs and either I2C or SPI serial interfaces, we offer a data converter for nearly any precision measurement application. Unique features like the Easy Drive current cancellation technique enables external RC networks and high impedance sensors to directly interface to the Easy Drive ADC family without external amplifiers. If an external amplifier is used, the ADC automatically calibrates both the offset and drift of this circuit and the Easy Drive sampling scheme enables a wide variety of amplifiers to be used.
Linear Technology's portfolio of Delta Sigma ADCs offers ultralow noise with speeds ranging from 6.8Hz up to 8kHz, with versions offering line frequency rejection of 50Hz, 60Hz or simultaneous 50Hz/60Hz. The flexibility to select devices with single-ended and/or differential inputs, ultra-tiny package sizes, internal temperature sensors, PGAs, integrate references and an internal oscillator not only makes finding the perfect ADC easy, but also reduces the number of external components required for space constrained applications.
Each ADC is supported with a demo system which demonstrates correct layout and input matching to achieve the highest performance design. The free, easy-to-use, and powerful QuikEval data acquisition and analysis software tool enable users to evaluate the DC performance of Linear Technology's Delta-Sigma ADC family, quickly and easily.
