Linear Technology manufactures a broad line of multiple output step-down switching regulators. Offered in both monolithic and controller versions, they have either synchronous or non-synchronous configurations. These regulators offer typical input voltage capability from 2.5V to 36V, switching frequencies up to 2.25MHz and high efficiency operation up to 96%. This combination of features allows very small circuit implementation for multiple outputs and optimizes battery run time in battery operated handheld devices.
