High Speed DACs

Linear Technology is pushing the limits by offering high-speed digital-to-analog converters (DAC) with unmatched AC and DC performance. Our portfolio of current-steering DACs with differential outputs exhibit excellent SFDR (spurious-free dynamic range), IMD (intermodulation distortion), SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) and phase noise, in addition to extremely low glitch, fast settling time and low latency operation. These merits help meet the requirements of the most demanding applications, whether in instrumentation, radar, broadband wired and wireless communications, test and measurement, military or medical equipment.

With update rates well over 2Gsps, the LTC2000 family of DACs are able to directly synthesize RF signals with over 1GHz of instantaneous bandwidth and up to 16 bits of precision. These devices exhibit exceptional spectral purity to meet the strictest requirements.
