Poly-Phase Buck Controllers

Linear Technology was the first analog IC manufacturer to offer an IC (the LTC1436 in 1995) with a phase-lock loop synchronization with an external clock to provide multiphase operation. Our broad product line includes step-down (buck) controllers that provide either single- or dual- outputs, delivering output currents up to 60A at output voltages as low as 0.6V. Besides single-package 1, 2 or 3-phase monolithic controllers, we can provide 4,6,8,9,10, and even 12-phase configurations capable of handling currents of up to 240A at sub-1V.
